Response from the local paper

"I am so sorry but the issue was so full that many things were cut. We still have your listing and will try to get it into the September 15th issue. "

I just wish they had told me. I waited for so long with excitement, only for nothing. Well, in any case, I did respond and politely implored they run it in the next issue, offered new photos that are up-to-date, and thanked them for responding.

I'm not giving up yet! It reminded me, I have a vet to call about a local tv program; I was hoping they might feature the kittens in one of their segments.
